It's been a while hasn't it? Well Lauren and I are back! I have now officially finished University so I can have more time to review and get my game on with my video editing.

I wanted to firstly give you guys a bit of an overview of our time at MCM, now I just want to start by telling you that I took hardly any pictures because I forgot to bring a spare battery and I spent lots of time impulse buying and hugging all of the fabulous people I'd met.

Once again the event was overbooked for the Saturday, you think the event planners would have had a bit of an inkling by now and either changed their venue or just stopped selling tickets after a while - however the layout was much more manageable this year, and easy to navigate.

I spent lots of time at the Insert Coin Clothing stand helping those guys out and making sure I flaunted some of their awesome clothes. However there were some really niché stools there this time, which were selling some awesome handmade JRPG bits and pieces (I may have over-spent...lots).

So rather than doing a formal blog post for this event I thought I'd just post some pictures myself and Lauren had taken throughout the day on Saturday as we spent lots of time just wandering around the Hello Kitty stand...

So as you can see we had a pretty awesome day, and spent lots of time taking selfies, which got a bit out of hand in the end. (EDIT: I will update with any pictures I took on my professional camera tomorrow)

Hey all I just thought I would give you a little personal update with some of my up-coming projects away from the blog and my youtube.

I have recently partnered up with a few friends and we are starting a weekly gaming podcast, now this is a really exciting project for me because I've wanted to do a podcast for about 3 years but I've never found people willing to get on board. So now I am working with two very interesting guys, Jas and Mike and we will be letting you in on our weekly gaming banter. Check out our twitter page for more info.

Now I am also starting a weekly streaming session on my PS4 through Twitch, I am beginning this Friday with a borderlands 2 play-through with special guests appearing each week, please feel free to subscribe and check it out!

And this will all be alongside my reviews on The Glim Glam and my unboxings on the ObvItsAmy youtube channel, I really hope you all enjoy this exciting new content!

So we forgot we had a spare Final Fantasy XV demo code until today, and we would love to share it with a lucky couple of people who haven't had a chance to get their hands on one! We have a code for both PS4 and Xbox One.

All you have to do is a leave a comment below and let us know who your all time favourite Final Fantasy character is and why - also include what format you would like the code on!

We will pick a winner at 6pm GMT on Saturday 28th March.

Make sure you leave either an email address or twitter handle that we can contact you on, and good luck Kupo!

As most of you seemed to love my Ghibli addiction last year, I have decided to show you my most recent tattoo, a Ghibli mural piece (mainly Miyazaki films)

I had it all done in one sitting and it took 7 hours in total, but I'm so pleased with it, today however my leg does not look at pretty and it's pretty purple and bruised!

Let me know what you think, and if you can spot the hidden No Face!

As someone who is allergic to liquid eyeliners I find that using gel tends to get a bit messy every now and again, especially when you get that build up in the crease of your eyes.  So when I discovered felt tip liner I decided to give it a go for my every day use.

I love being able to buy handcrafted items which have a pretty awesome element to them, over the last few months I've become a bit of an Etsy addict. (Some of those sellers are crazy talented)
I thought I would make this post for the people who are looking to buy their loved ones something awesomely nerdy and amazing. I found a few items I would like to share with you guys! Enjoy.

Firstly we have this awesome Totoro styled laptop vinyl decal. As a person who loved Ghibli and vinyl stickers I feel like this would be an awesome gift. Now this is only £4.57 from this Etsy seller (DesignDepo) - she also has loads of 3DS vinyls too! (Themes include, Zelda, Doctor Who, Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter)
