One of my most raved about games of the past 4 years is Bastion, when Supergiant Games announced they were bringing it to PS4 I obviously jumped at the chance to play through it one last time...or three.

If you haven't already played Bastion before I shall quickly explain the premise to you. It's a action based role-playing game and you play as 'The Kid' as he makes his way through a fantasy world which appears before your eyes, building around you - whilst fighting enemies of course. Who have some rather interesting names which match their personality, Squirt, Pecker and Scumbag are just a few that you'll encounter.

Scumbag
The game has just one voice throughout a Narration by 'The Stranger' and as you make your way through the story he helps unfold the mystery surrounding the Bastion.

Although the game has been brought to PS4 none of the original content has been changed (however it looks very vibrant and runs much smoother) - this does not stop the game from being just as captivating third time around.

The game has many role-playing elements like levelling up, a variation of weapon types and currency to spend on upgrading your items 'fragments'.

One of the main reasons I love going back to this game is the stunning soundtrack and if you've played a Supergiant Game before you'll know that this is a recurring theme within their games. This soundtrack is available on iTunes, if you want a taster it is also on Spotify.

The soundtrack runs beautifully alongside the flawless visuals and storyline which breaks my heart every single time I play. It's honestly one of those games which can be played over and over, never loosing it's charm. And in my 15 years of being a gamer I've never found a game which has a playability factor like this one.

As said earlier, this game has no differences on PS4 however it does seem to run much smoother than consoles I've previously played it on, and of course it's just a nice experience to play one of my favourite games on my favourite console!

If you do fancy picking this up it is £11.99 on the PSN store and I'm sure when it comes out on Vita you'll get a copy on there too!

I hope you enjoyed this mini-review and it's safe to say I may be a little bias with this one...
