The Shopkeeper (*) is an interactive short game brought to you by Verse Publications, letting you join them on a mini point and click adventure. *
So I have just sat down and played this game for a good while to achieve all of the steam achievements (which isn't many) however it take's a bit of listening and note taking to get through this game.
The aim of the game is to help a man find a suitable antique to impress a rich relative. However your choice of item and answer's to a few questions will all end with different consequences. As said above the game is a point and click adventure and really is a 'short' as once you've spoken to the shopkeeper once you've basically done the game.
However the more times you play the game the more unravels of the storyline to which you find out lots more information of this relative of yours. The first couple of times you play through you may think 'huh, what is going on?' but this game has some dark undertones and you find out some quite interesting history around these antique items you're looking at.
If you're an indie buff like me and want to give something different a little go, even for an hour or so I recommend you pick up this little gem. However you could win yourself a copy by answer this question;
Who is your favourite in-game shopkeeper? (It could be anything from Marcus in borderlands or the 'Merchant' in Resident Evil) just let us know in the comments below.
Leave your twitter handle and email address too and we will email you over a code if you've won.
You have until 2nd November 6pm GMT! Good luck!
If you don't want to wait and fancy picking up this game for a cheap £1.99 then check it out here!
