Over 9,000 Zombies is a 2D top down zombie shoot it out game, with swarms of the undead coming towards you - how long can you survive? *

The kind folk over at Mastertronic have sent us over a few codes to review this little gem. The game is a top-down survival, the zombie apocalypse has arrived and it's your chance to kill them all to survive.

You start by picking a weapon and you can collect bits of scrap metal, grenades and various other items and begin building barricades and turrets to protect yourself. It works almost like a tower defence game in a way, as you're constantly trying to make your defence stronger and stronger.

The game itself is super fun to play (I found it much more fun to play co-op than alone, but this could be because I absolutely sucked at single player!) and although it may not bring an element of originality to the table when it comes to zombie games it definitely is worth the money and time you'll spend in the game. Especially when the full game is released and new content is added.

So far the game has a good amount of content (and wonderful soundtrack) and the hordes of zombies are particularly large ones and there has been hardly any bugs or glitches for me! Playing co-op is working flawlessly currently.
