As usual Stephen Fry voices the majority of the story, with a handful of famous voices as characters within the story. You meet Newton a lovely lightbulb (voiced by Hugh Laurie) who is convinced he is going to become the most famous creator. However it goes very slightly wrong when it makes him go very (slightly) mad.
You travel to find Odd Socks, Toggle and Swoop and the four of you will come together to help defeat Newton.
The co-op play is such a fun element, however it is not necessary through the game so it never really stops you from being able to do anything - this is a lovely idea as sometimes you are restricted due to co-op features.
The world looks adorable as usual and has some really cool underwater/anti-gravity elements. However the lag within the game gets a bit too much at time, it is rather buggy and sometimes you'll find yourself in severe bugs where the game just doesn't even load. This is a well-known bug since launch sadly.
Each character has it's own special traits which can help you within specific levels, especially if you're the kind of person who likes to collect every single items within each level. My favourite character was probably Toggle (the Orc costume you can buy for him is AMAZING).
The game felt really rushed in terms of story, especially if you're not a creator like myself. And most of the trophies are aimed at people who play online or in creator mode - this sucks! It definitely wasn't as long as the other days, and I completely this in roughly 4-5 hours, and in all honestly who in their right mind would want to pay £50 for a game that only has a 4 hour campaign. So if you're only planning on playing through the story then this game may not be for you!
However I enjoyed what I played of it and I would definitely play through it on co-op again, it's adorable and LBP is a great game to play with children - I'll be playing with my niece next!
